The internet, as we are all coming to realize is the next giant step in our technological evolution. It ranks up there with fire, the wheel, the machine, electric power, atomic power and others I have forgotten to mention. And it’s not going anywhere.
It will, instead become an ever increasing part of our lives. Print newspapers are ceasing their daily print in favor or clickable news; we can order everything we need online; we can interact with friends no matter their location via electronic networks.
Thieves see this as opportunity to separate others of the assets they have worked hard to obtain. They sneak in with smooth words and convince the innocent they can make a large income for a few hours mindless work.
There are also people on the Internet trying to make an honest profit from goods they honestly created. Their products may be hard to use or not for you, but they are not scams.
How do we tell the difference?
I am a researcher. I spend a great deal of time at my computer on the Internet, and come across many “opportunities.” If I discover a scam that others review as a scam, I will disclose it here.
